# Vineet K I love working with limited computing environments such as microcontrollers and battery-powered devices. I also have an interest in designing my own electronics. I'm currently exploring programming on bare metal so that I can make a useful device of my own. ## Projects I'm currently working on - Doing undergraduate research on how DDR4 and DDR5 are affected by RowHammer - A [software NES simulator](https://git.vineetk.net/vin/emu_nes) ## Projects I want to work on - An NES or GameBoy emulator, either on an MCU or FPGA - E-Paper reader run on bare metal - first need to drive the E-Paper screen without a vendor waveform from a MCU - Split ergo-mechanical keyboard with an integrated trackball/trackpad - possibly wireless to force it to be low-power - Physical (binary?) clock and forecast dashboard, also on bare metal
