# Vineet K
|

I love working with limited computing environments such as microcontrollers
|
|
and battery-powered devices. I also have an interest in designing my own
|
|
electronics. I'm currently exploring programming on bare metal so that I
|
|
can make a useful device of my own.
|
|
|

## Projects I'm currently working on
|
|
- Doing undergraduate research on how DDR4 and DDR5 are affected by RowHammer
|
|

|
|

## Projects I want to work on
|
|
- An NES- or GameBoy-compatible handheld console, either on an MCU or FPGA
|
|
- E-Paper reader run on bare metal
|
|
- first need to drive the E-Paper screen without a vendor waveform from a MCU
|
|
- Split ergo-mechanical keyboard with an integrated trackball/trackpad
|
|
- possibly wireless to force it to be low-power
|
|
- Physical (binary?) clock and forecast dashboard, also on bare metal
|
